I possibly can’t even tell you how important it is for you to go on an “All Boys Road Trip” at least once while you are in college but being the blogger that I am, I’m going to give it a try. Focus on the next five words.

It is really fucking important.

Now, that we know how important it is to take a road trip at least once (really fucking), we can continue further with this week’s blog. I will first write for the guys who have never hit the road with their fellow bros and then talk about the essentials.

A road trip, according to Wikipedia, is a long distance journey on the road. But trust me, an “All Boys Road Trip” is much more than that. It is the perfect way to come together as a pack (Wolves Analogy)

I started this blog to inspire you to do things so that you can make a change and become a better version of yourself. Keeping this in mind, I’m going to motivate the shit out of you with this post so that you finally go on a road trip. To start things off, I’m going to ask you three questions. I want you to answer all of them and I expect you to be honest with yourself, okay?

• When was the last time you did something for the first time?
• Do you have that crazy story from college times to tell your children when they ask?
• How great would it be to just be with your bros; no girlfriends, no judgements or restrictions? Just your bros who you’ll remember the most when it’s all over.

Let’s face it. None of us are getting any younger and the hard truth about life is, time’s change. The people you laugh with today on daily basis will soon just be contacts in your phone book. Damn, this is getting sad. Gotta go hug a bro. Yes, hug your bros. It is not weird.

What I’m trying to say is, celebrate your brotherhood while you can.

And, let’s get one thing straight. I’m not talking about “Let’s drive our car to the nearest city and eat from a Dhaba (or a Food Truck)”. I’m saying, “Take your car or bikes, gather your pack and just leave for the hills (or the beach).” Do things you have never done before. Go camp in a jungle, sit by a lake and throw rocks, call for the wolves at 2 am, try that thing you always wanted to smoke. Do anything you’re comfortable with and won’t regret later because that’s how you want to do things if you want a crazy college story, okay?

Not in college? It’s never too late. Go out with the boys and just make sure you have the following things with you.

Essentials:

Hard Cash (to buy some very legal things.)
A Waterproof & Sturdy Bag (to keep those legal things safe.)
Mobile Phone (see 127 Hours.)
Portable Charger (better if you have one.)
A Valid Photo-ID (plus a photocopy.)
Music (you better have Dil Chahta Hai.)

Clothes are not optional. I just think I don’t have to mention all that. And, depending on where you are going and planning to do; packing boots, sun shades and such items falls under the “I read it on the Internet while doing some research before leaving my house” category.

I suggest you to try a Planned Trip first and then an unplanned one if you really want it. I would really hate it if one of you gets stranded in some cold place with no money. I personally won’t be able to save your ass if you’re in a jam. Who am I kidding? Try reaching out to me if you’re in North India, I’ll come to the rescue. Why? Because that’s what bros do.

Share the blog with fellow men. Go ahead and find a weekend. Plan a trip and leave. Leave a comment below if you think I missed something or have a question.

Stay classy.
